The Sister Project

There’s this great website called The Sister Project that I’ve been crushing on for a long time, and today they winked back at me!! Or in other words, they posted a great review of Soft Place.  Thanks so much!  Read all about it right here: http://thesisterproject.com/reading-a-soft-place-to-land/

Just reand your book and just had to let you know what a treat it was to get to know the people that inhabit your story……I look foward to reading your next book.

Thank you so much! I have a real fondness for Louise Parker.

Will you speak at our book club in Atlanta?

    Dear Susan Rebecca White,

I recently read your wonderful novel, A Soft Place to Land. Since I have an older (and brilliant sister who taught English at UGA), I related to your book more than I expected.

I proposed your book for our December meeting when we ask an author to speak. We will treat you to dinner at one of our member’s home on Arden Way, just off of Peachtree Battle–too uncanny with your descriptions of the area. I also went to Agnes Scott, finding references to it and the area believable.

Last year we had Karen White and the year before Terry Kay.

Our meeting will be on December 8, Wednesday, at 7:00. We hope you can attend.

    With appreciation,

    Laura Jackson
